Vacant Seat: If there's a vacant seat in your district, you can be appointed as a Commissioner any time from October to August, not just during election months. The Greater South East Area Commission will review your Election Signature Form at the next regular meeting and vote on your appointment. Appointed Commissioners will serve until the next election, at which point the seat will be up for re-election. This process ensures public input in all Commission seats.​

Seat Up For Election: If seeking a seat up for election, please be sure to complete and submit the Commissioner Application Form to the Greater South East Area Commission (instructions are on application on how to send).
